The School of Mechanical Engineering has had multiple collaborations with us before, and this time the School of Electrical Engineering wants to simulate the fault characteristics of planetary gearboxes.

A planetary gear is a gearbox with a gear ratio of 10:1, designed to work similarly to the planetary gears of a wind turbine.
When the motor speed of the simulation test bench is 1800 revolutions per minute, it drops to 10:1 in the planetary gear, and the final speed is 180 revolutions per minute.
This allows you to test the vibration and current signal characteristics at high, medium, and low speeds.
By replacing defective planetary gears, the vibration phenomenon of planetary gears caused by defects can be studied in depth. (Defective optional planetary gears can be ordered)
The School of Electrical Engineering and Automation at Fuzhou University was established in June 2003 through disciplinary restructuring based on the original Department of Electrical Engineering. The predecessor of the Department of Electrical Engineering was the Department of Electrical Engineering at Fuzhou University, founded in 1958 as one of the first five departments established by our university. The college has a total construction area of over 17000 square meters and is equipped with departments such as Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation, Applied Electronics, Building Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics, as well as an Experimental Teaching Center. The college currently has two first level disciplines: Electrical Engineering (a national first-class undergraduate major construction site and a key discipline with Fujian Province characteristics) and Control Science and Engineering (a key discipline in Fujian Province). Electrical Engineering passed the China Engineering Education Certification in 2018. The college has a doctoral program in the first level discipline of "Electrical Engineering" and a research mobile station for postdoctoral research. It also has two master's programs in the first level disciplines of "Electrical Engineering" and "Control Science and Engineering", as well as professional degree graduate degree programs in the fields of "Electrical Engineering" and "Control Engineering". The college has established the Fujian Province Graduate Training Innovation Base and the Fujian Province Professional Degree Graduate Joint Training Demonstration Base. There are four undergraduate majors, namely "Electrical Engineering and Automation", "Automation", "Building Electrical and Intelligent Engineering", and "Smart Grid Information Engineering". Seven teaching units are responsible for undergraduate teaching, including the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Power Engineering, the Department of Applied Electronics, the Department of Automation, the Department of Building Electrical Engineering, the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and the Experimental Teaching Center. The college has the most complete discipline field and training system in the province for electrical engineering, as well as a first-class control discipline in the province.

Currently, it has jointly established undergraduate laboratories and practical bases, graduate joint training and cultivation bases with enterprises, established enterprise scholarships, and carried out student pre employment training models to strengthen external cooperation and exchanges. Currently, it is conducting undergraduate "double degree" joint training with Kaiserslautern University of Technology in Germany, and "double joint" training models with Yuan Ze University and Taiwan University of Science and Technology. After more than 60 years of development, the college has cultivated a large number of students with solid foundations and a wide range of knowledge. Highly adaptable senior professionals in the fields of electrical engineering and automation have received unanimous praise from employers. Over the years, the college has consistently ranked among the top in terms of employment rate in the university. Currently, there are 1669 undergraduate students, 689 master's students, and 42 doctoral students enrolled. With the concerted efforts of all faculty and staff, the college has been built into a college with distinctive disciplinary advantages and the characteristics of industry university research joint education. Electrical engineering has been included in the first-class discipline construction plan of Fujian Province - the plateau discipline construction plan.
